  • Tropical Corner: Tracking TD2

    June 17, 2013; 6:15 PM ET

A new depression formed today but it looks as though it will remain too close to land to get very strong. There are a couple of other waves to track but I don't expect any other developments over the next several days.

  • B12: More Heat, Some Storms, Watching TD2

    June 17, 2013; 6:15 PM ET

An upper ridge will rebuild over the region this week, so the heat will be back on. However, eastern areas have an old front to cause a few cooling storms, and Tropical Depression Two will be going by to the south.

  • SE: Some Storms, Not Too Hot

    June 17, 2013; 6:15 PM ET

A fluctuating front will keep much of the Southeast unsettled over the next several days. After a stormy day tomorrow some nicer air will push into the Virginia and North Carolina.

  • Tropical Corner: Mostly Quiet

    June 13, 2013; 7:15 PM ET

We're tracking waves and other wimpy little critters, but we don't expect any storms to develop for a while, maybe not until July.

  • B12: Heat and Storms

    June 13, 2013; 7:15 PM ET

For most west of the Mississippi back to Texas, it's going to be either hot or stormy, though a few near the Mississippi will catch a break.

  • Another Nice Spell Coming, More Storms Next Week

    June 13, 2013; 7:15 PM ET

A lot of the Southeast is getting rough weather today but will be rewarded with a nice weekend. Nice weather won't last long, though, some more storms will affect the area next week.
