Dry Weather Continues for San Francisco

By Kevin Byrne, AccuWeather.com Staff Writer
    July 26, 2014; 10:02 AM ET

Much-needed rain for the drought-plagued Bay Area remains out of the forecast through the weekend and into next week.

The entire state of California is under at least severe drought conditions according to the U.S. Drought Monitor

Areas of low clouds will give way to sunny conditions from Sunday through Tuesday. The low cloud coverage could cause flight delays out of San Francisco International Airport.

Temperatures will be warmer than normal with highs in the upper 70s through Tuesday. Normal temperatures for this time of year are right around 66 F.

The clear and sunny conditions should make for enjoyable baseball weather as the San Francisco Giants host the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday at AT&T Park. The game is scheduled for 5:07 p.m. PDT.
