Cooler Air Coming to San Francisco

By By Mark Leberfinger, AccuWeather.com Staff Writer

Another day of above-normal temperatures is expected on Thursday for the San Francisco area.

The normal high for this time of year is 67 degrees Fahrenheit but Thursday's high will be in the mid-80s.

Those spending any time outdoors should be prepared for the heat by staying hydrated and by wearing sunscreen or a hat, as sunburn and heat exhaustion are possible.

It will continue to stay dry across the region for the rest of the week.

It will cool down on Friday with a high in the low 70s.

It will turn even cooler Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 60s but it will be pleasant for outdoor activities including the Mark di Suvero art exhibition at Crissy Field.

Some fog and low clouds are possible Sunday, which could cause travel delays from San Francisco International Airport.

Sunny skies and near-normal temperatures will start the new week in the Bay Area.
