A couple of points this morning.
1. With the big high coming down, the eastern Gulf of Mexico is the place to watch for any development along the old front. Big highs this time of the year add spin into the tropics, especially along the old frontal boundaries. If a low develops, it could mean heavy rains for parts of the Southeast and up the spine of the Appalachians.
2. Severe storms will develop along the I-95 corridor from Boston to Raleigh Tuesday afternoon. Impacts will be wind damage, hail and heavy rains.
Snow for New England today into tonight. The weekend storm will be a wild one.
A clipper will bring snow to New England. A storm this weekend will produce severe weather and snow.
