Another Round of Potentially Damaging Tornadoes
Severe storms will continue today, but this time they will occur from the Midwest to the South. Outlined below on the map is the area where tornadoes will occur and within that area; tornadoes could be large and damaging. The entire area shown on the map will see severe storms with hail, damaging winds and flash flooding.
Tuesday, more severe storms will occur as shown on the map below, but the chances for large tornadoes will be much lower. Most of the storms within the zone will produce damaging winds and hail.
Wednesday, the severe weather will move into areas from Pennsylvania to South Carolina. That area could get damaging winds, hail and tornadoes. Wednesday will be the last day of severe weather until Sunday.
The moonson will bring some nasty weather to the Southwestern part of the country.
Watching the system in the Gulf of Mexico for development. Probably a small chance.
Heat builds into the East while the rain continues for the Pacific Northwest.
Erika will have many issues this weekend includng tracking over the islands with big mountains.
Erika will track into the Bahamas and may intensify early next week. Track could bring it close to the U.S.
