I posted two maps below for the next set of storms. The snow map is for the Wednesday storm and the potential map for the Sunday storm. Both storms can produce a lot of snow. The upside of the storms are such. The Tuesday to Wednesday storm can produce up to 18 inches of snow. The storm Sunday into Monday can produce 24 inches of snow. It's also possible that the snow on the ground in some areas from West Virginia to New Jersey could be 12-30 inches by the time both storms are done, which also includes today's storms. This is an amazing weather pattern that will produce big storms. I might have to get the Big Daddy hat out.
The heat is on from the Plains into the East.
The storms will continue around the edge of the heat wave.
Severe storms will be moving around the ridge of high pressure whish is producing the high heat.
Heat wave will build in the Plains as temperatures will hit the 100s. That heat is heading east this weekend.
A cold front moving through the Northeast will bring heavy storms. High heat will build in the Plains and spread across the East.
The stormy weather will remain in the Plains today and probably tomorrow before the heat builds in.
