I really don't have much to change on the snow map and severe weather. There looks to be a big storm with many places getting over 4 inches of snow up to the Appalachian Mountains. East of the mountains, it's probably light snow accumulating up to 3 inches. GFS and NAN both have rain east of I-95 with a little wet snow at the end. Hey, it's spring; do we really need any more snow?
Next week will remain cold across the eastern part of the country with more snow showers and maybe a snowstorm by next weekend.

The band of snow and ice that develops this weekend will be bad in Kansas but more of a nuisance through the Ohio Valley.
As milder weather moves north, it will mean snow will hit the Great Lakes and Northeast today into tonight. California will get more heavy rain.
