The Euro model has come into alignment with the storm development along the coast. With the NAO remaining negative but coming up, a storm should form along the coast and probably be the last of the storms as the pattern changes after that.
The GFS will take a few more days to come around the full extent of the storm as the Euro shows. As you can see, I am leaning toward the Euro solution of the storm and its strength.
I do want to urge that this storm is not like Sandy by any means. It's a storm that will only compound problems, especially if the storm produces coastal flooding.
Severe weather to start the day... Icy weather tonight... Next week's storm. A lot going on.
Changes are coming but slowly. A little ice Thursday night into Friday morning.
Ice for parts of Texas to Mississippi...Solution on storm next week seems to be out there again.
Snow will wind down this evening but not after giving over 6 inches to many places.
A major snowstorm will hit the Midwest into southern New England while severe storms hit the southern Mississippi valley.
Another major snow event for the eastern part of the country with amounts over a foot.
