Storm Along the Coast ... Cold is King This Week

March 24, 2014; 12:06 PM ET

Comments

1. It looks like the storm will stay far enough off the coast to only bring some light snow to most areas. The latest GFS has the storm well east of New England with only light to moderate snows on the cape. Atlantic Canada will be slammed by a blizzard.

2. I hope this is the last shot of frigid air into the East. Departures from normal will be amazing with 20-35 degrees below normal through Thursday. It should warm up late this week and the weekend.
