I think I have said everything about the current storm that I can. The map posted below is for the next storm Sunday into Monday that will be followed by dangerous cold weather next week. Even the airmass coming in behind the current storm is going to be extremely cold for a day or so before it warms up a bit.
it looks to me that the last half of January will end up on the mild side across much of the East then it gets cold again probably in February.
