Snow Map for the Groundhog Blizzard.

Jan 31, 2011; 12:56 PM ET

Here's the latest map for the Groundhog Blizzard.

Comments:

1. As for storms, this will be the most widespread so far this year. It will be a blizzard in the Midwest and Plains where amounts will be over a foot with winds gusting over 40 mph and temps in the teens.

2. The ice will be very bad across the Ohio Valley into southern Pennsylvania. That area could get up to an inch of ice and power outages.

3. The interior Northeast will have its biggest snowfall this year with with over a foot in many places. The areas hit by snow in Connecticut and New Jersey will have mainly snow and sleet accumulation.

4. There are two more snowstorms coming... one this weekend and one next week. I have not looked at them yet, but they are there on the models.
