1. Another afternoon of severe weather across the Ohio Valley into the Appalachians. Storms will once again produce damaging wind gusts and heavy rains.
2. Next week, the corridor of tropical moisture begins across the eastern part of the country. The corridor of the heaviest rains has been shifting on the models between the Appalachians and I-95 corridor. I think in the end it will set up along the I-95 corridor but move west with time back into the Appalachians. It all means flash flooding potential for any areas under the narrow corridor of rain.
