BEST STORMS DOWN SOUTH COULD GET WILD EASTERN OHIO WESTERN PA, PERHAPS HAVE EVEN EASTERN PA...
After two days of severe weather, the atmosphere tends to get muddled-up with debris clouds and leftover showers and thunderstorms. That makes it harder to try and figure out where the worst storms will develop. Typically, i look for areas that will get the maximum heating for example.. eastern Pennsylvania, eastern Tennessee and Alabama are all in areas where heating will take place.
For areas from Tennessee to Alabama and Mississippi, we have the squall line that will continue to move east with embedded supercells and bow echoes meaning wind damage and tornado threats will continue.
Across eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania and eastern Pennsylvania, two things may happen. 1. Across eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland and northern Virginia, showers coming across central Pennsylvania and West Virginia this morning could enhance and become big storms, especially along the turnpike from Harrisburg to Philly. 2. A line of storms should develop across eastern Ohio and move east into western New York and western Pennsylvania/West Virginia. With EHI values on the high side, I am still concerned for tornadoes and wind damage west of a line from Williamsport, State Collage, Bedford to Morgantown. I do plan on going storm chasing if the storms get going this afternoon and evening...
