Rains End in Colorado... Ingrid Flooding in Mexico

September 16, 2013; 9:20 AM ET

1. The good news for Colorado: The heavy rains are over. The big highs that have been moving into the eastern part of the country have been causing upslope flow into Colorado which have resulted in the heavy rains developing each day for the past week. You can see on the seven-day rainfall map how the rains focused right along the Front Range around Denver to Boulder.

2. Ingrid is now moving into Mexico. For parts of eastern Mexico, the flooding will be devastating. For South Texas, only minor flooding problems, but much need rainfall.
