More Snow Today... Some Severe Storms... Friday Storms

April 22, 2013; 8:40 AM ET

1. The same places that have been having snow will get another round today into Tuesday. Some places will get more than 4 inches of from Wyoming, northern Colorado to Minnesota. Minneapolis and Denver should both receive more than 4 inches of snow.

2. I am not really excited about the severe weather today. It looks like elevated storms with hail and strong winds in the area shown on the map.

3. I do think Friday could be a more active day for severe weather as shown on the map below. The system coming through southern California will head into the Plains and that one should go negative tilt and produce some strong storms with large hail, damaging winds and even a few tornadoes.
