Gulf of Mexico Watch. Severe Storms End Heat Friday

1. The cluster of storms in the western Caribbean will continue to gather organization over the weekend and we may have a storm in the east-central Gulf of Mexico by the end of the weekend or early next week. The Euro model is going nuts with a tropical storm sitting off the Florida Panhandle by next Wednesday. I can see how that happens because once the storm gets going, it may go rather quickly.

2. The front will come through the East and bring an end to the heat, but with that front will come severe storms along the I-95 corridor. The storms Friday evening will produce damaging wind gusts and hard downpours.
