Earl Now Heading to Cape Cod with 70-MPH Winds.

Sep 3, 2010; 7:11 AM ET

Commentary

1. I still like my track and conditions for New England.

2. The Cape will get wind gusts to 70 mph. Boston: gusts to 45 mph. Bridgeport down to Islip will get wind gusts over tropical storm force. New York City to Philly and Baltimore will have just a little rain.

3. Jersey and Maryland/DE beaches will endure gusty winds and rain. Waves coming into the beaches will cause erosion. There will be some street flooding where the waves are able to go through the dunes.
