The pattern we are in is one that will produce a series of convective complexes across the southern Plains through the weekend. We had one complex go through Kansas this morning with heavy rains and high winds and we should see another one Friday night. As I explained in the video, look for the nose of the low-level jet to find the area where the complexes will develop over the weekend. The impacts from these complexes will be wind damage and heavy rains.
