    Chantal Remains Disorganized

    July 10, 2013; 11:09 AM ET

    1. So they kept Chantal a tropical storm at the midday advisory. It's barely a tropical storm and most likely when it goes over the eastern end of Cuba, it will be torn apart and will be just a wave once in the Bahamas. I think in the end, we will be just dealing with a blob of storms that wanders over Florida and into the Gulf of Mexico.

    2. Severe storms this afternoon in the eastern Ohio Valley. RR suggests Ohio and western Pennsylvania get hit by the storms. Damaging winds and flash flooding will be the main threats.
