Blizzard for the Cape to Atlantic Canada. Severe Weather Next!

    1. The storm that is currently off South Carolina will head north, bombing out as it does so. From the Cape to Atlantic Canada, it will be a blizzard with winds gusting over 50 mph. From Virginia into New Jersey, 1-3 inches of snow will fall with 6 inches locally. We may see thundersnow across parts of eastern Virginia and the Delmarva this evening.

    2. Next up will be severe weather Thursday afternoon. It would appear that the ingredients are coming together for severe storms, including the potential for tornadoes across the area shown on the map below. It is spring, so severe weather will be increasing with time now.
