1. Severe weather map below shows were the storms will develop this weekend. I think by Sunday we have a squall line of storms running from the Great Lakes to Texas with gusty winds and heavy rains along that line. The initial outbreak may have supercell storms with damaging winds, hail and perhaps and tornado.
2. Blizzard will hit Montana, and the higher passes of the West will have snow as well. Below are the Euro model snowfall maps for the snow across the Northwest and into the northern Plains.
Snow will hit Colorado through Friday. Severe storms for the next 4 to 5 days.
Storm in the Rockies will produce heavy snow and heavy storms through Friday.
A rainy pattern for the South which could lead to more flooding problems.
A cold front will produce heavy thunderstorms in two areas today.
Storms along the cold front will be heavy today with strong winds and some hail.
An active day of severe storms today, but only heavy storms tomorrow along the front.
