1. Severe weather map below shows were the storms will develop this weekend. I think by Sunday we have a squall line of storms running from the Great Lakes to Texas with gusty winds and heavy rains along that line. The initial outbreak may have supercell storms with damaging winds, hail and perhaps and tornado.
2. Blizzard will hit Montana, and the higher passes of the West will have snow as well. Below are the Euro model snowfall maps for the snow across the Northwest and into the northern Plains.
Severe storms will be scattered about the Northeast today. Hawaii will be impacted by a tropical storm.
We are seeing the SOI values crashing again as the El Nino continues to pulse. Weather should get active again next week.
