I posted my maps and the video on the storm this week below.
1. Severe weather could be worse across Oklahoma and northern Texas this week because of the way the jet is coming out of Mexico. The left front quad will be right over Oklahoma and northern Texas by late Wednesday, which will be key to the intense upward motion for big storms and possible tornadoes.
2. Snow will once again hit Colorado, Wyoming into Minnesota. Up to a foot of snow will fall from Wyoming and Colorado to western Nebraska. This will be the last snowstorm for that area because the pattern will change once again.
A stormy time across the southern Plains today into Saturday. Flooding rains will be the main issue during the period.
Storms will be severe in the southern mid-Atlantic and in the Southern Plains. Tornadoes possible in the Plains Friday.
The focus of the severe weather will be across southern Iowa into western Illnois where storms should develop around the upper-level low.
Storm coming out of the Rockies will bring tornadoes and severe winds to the Plains and Mississippi. Mid-Atlantic has big storms too.
Severe weather will occur this week as a series of storms move across the country.
The pattern will become active in the Plains and Midwest starting Sunday and lasting into next week.
