Also, the model projects below-normal tropical activity in the Atlantic Basin from late September into middle October.
A significant cool shot will come into the eastern Prairies, Upper Midwest and the western half of Ontario next week, while a wet pattern sets in across Quebec and perhaps the Maritimes.
Frost and freeze across parts of eastern Canada and the interior Northeast U.S. later this week, while the West gets into another warm/dry spell this weekend and into early next week.
