    March to Come in as a Polar Bear

    With a flow all the way from Greenland through eastern Canada to the Great Lakes and Northeast regions, it will gradually become colder during the next few days. This is not a pure Arctic air mass, but instead has the more moderate cold... and moisture... we get when there is some flow from the North Atlantic mixes in. This means that places from Chicago to Boston can look forward to some sunshine during the coming weekend, lots of clouds are still likely. This video has more:

    Yesterday, we looked at the European prog showing a Middle Atlantic states snowstorm later next week. Last night's run had the same storm, but it showed the most concentrated precipitation farther south. Time will tell if that is a trend or just model wobble.


    This video focuses on the Chicago area and at the end.... finally... shows a clear sign of spring!!!!!
