...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM EDT TUESDAY
FOR KENT...NORTHWESTERN SUSSEX...NORTHEASTERN TALBOT...SOUTHEASTERN
QUEEN ANNE'S AND CAROLINE COUNTIES...

AT 1222 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE
WARNED AREA OF DELAWARE THOUGH IT HAS LET UP CONSIDERABLY IN THE
MARYLAND PORTION OF THE WARNING. THERE HAS BEEN SOME FLOODING NEAR
EASTON MARYLAND WITH A REPORT OF AROUND 2.6 INCHES. IT IS EASILY
POSSIBLE THAT 3 TO 4 INCHES MAY HAVE ALREADY OCCURRED NEAR GRIFFIN
AND DENTON IN CAROLINE COUNTY MARYLAND WITH SIMILAR AMOUNTS IN
SOUTHERN KENT COUNTY DELAWARE NEAR AND JUST NORTH OF ANDREWSVILLE
AND HARRINGTON.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
DOVER...EASTON...MILFORD...DENTON...HARRINGTON...CAMDEN...GREENSBORO...
OAKLAND...RIDGELY...PRESTON...ELLENDALE...BOWERS...GOLDSBORO...QUEEN ANNE...
WOODSIDE...VIOLA...HARMONY...AGNER...WINDYHILL AND RISING SUN.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 1.5 INCHES COULD OCCUR IN
THE DELAWARE PORTION OF THE WARNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.

TURN AROUND...DON'T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
