EXCLUSIVE: Man working at Oroville Dam injured by heavy equipment

A man working at the Oroville Dam has been injured by heavy equipment.

Rescue teams were sent out to Thompson Flat Road early Tuesday morning, where paramedics then took the injured man to the Thompson Flat Cemetery to be transported by medical helicopter to Enloe Medical Center for treatment.

We called Butte County CAL FIRE Tuesday morning to learn more about the incident. They tell us the Department of Water Resources as well as CAL OSHA are leading the investigation.

We are working to learn that man's identity, as well as the extent of his injuries and just exactly how he was injured. This is a developing story, check back for more details.
