ISLANDS...AND CLINTON AND ESSEX COUNTIES IN NORTHEASTERN NEW
YORK...UNTIL 7 AM EST THURSDAY.

* LOCATIONS...PORTIONS OF FAR NORTHERN VERMONT...THE CHAMPLAIN
ISLANDS...AS WELL AS CLINTON AND ESSEX COUNTIES IN NEW YORK.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW.

* MAXIMUM SNOWFALL RATE...UP TO 1 INCH PER HOUR...MAINLY LATE THIS
AFTERNOON THROUGH EVENING.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE ADVISORY AREA DURING THE MID
TO LATE AFTERNOON HOURS. PERIODS OF MODERATE SNOW ARE EXPECTED
LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE THIS EVENING. SNOW WILL TAPER
OFF AND END DURING THE PRE-DAWN HOURS THURSDAY.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BE SLOW DUE TO SLICK...SNOW COVERED
ROADWAYS AND LOW VISIBILITY IN FALLING SNOW. ALLOW PLENTY OF
EXTRA TIME TO TRAVEL.
