...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST
TONIGHT...

* SHORT TERM TRENDS...CONDITIONS WILL SLOWLY IMPROVE OVERNIGHT.
VISIBILITIES WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE AFTER SNOW SHOWERS END
LATER THIS EVENING. STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO
PRODUCE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...GRADUALLY DIMINISHING
TOWARD MORNING.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...NORTHWEST WINDS 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40
MPH. VISIBILITY WILL BE REDUCED TO BELOW A MILE AT TIMES. WINDS
WILL LESSEN TO 20 TO 25 MPH OVERNIGHT WITH OCCASIONAL HIGHER
GUSTS.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL IS NOT ADVISED OVER PORTIONS OF NORTHERN IOWA
DUE TO CONSIDERABLE BLOWING SNOW AND RESTRICTED VISIBILITIES. AT
THIS TIME INTERSTATE 35 REMAINS CLOSED FROM AMES TO CLEAR LAKE.
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL ALSO CAUSE SLICK ROADS AND
DANGEROUS TRAVEL.
