    Firefighter killed in house explosion in the Bronx

    A member of the FDNY was killed and 20 people were hurt in a house explosion in the Bronx.  It happened at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.  Battalion Chief Michael J. Fahy, a 17-year-veteran of the fire department, was struck on the head and other parts of his body by flying debris from the blast.
