There were some scary moments for passengers on board a United Airlines flight leaving Tampa International Airport Monday afternoon.
Witnesses said they saw the flight about to take off when they heard a loud explosion, followed by smoke and then fire. A passenger on board the plane tweeted photos and video after it happened. Tampa International Airport officials said it appeared a tire blew and then the tire caught fire on the runway. Minutes later, witnesses said firefighters sped to the scene to put out the fire. "Everyone was freaking out and so scared," Lewis told FOX 13.
