* TIMING...THIS EVENING DURING THE TIMES OF HIGH TIDE.

* IMPACTS...LOCALIZED MINOR FLOODING OF LOW-LYING BEACH AREAS...INCLUDING BEACH PARKING LOTS AND POSSIBLY INTO SOME ROADS ADJACENT TO THE BEACHES. PARTICULARLY SUSCEPTIBLE AREAS INCLUDE THE PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY AT SUNSET AND SEAL BEACHES... NEWPORT BEACH...OCEANSIDE BEACH...LA JOLLA...AND IMPERIAL BEACH.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT FOR MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW MEANS THATHIGH ASTRONOMICAL TIDES POSSIBLY IN COMBINATION WITH ABOVE NORMALSURF WILL LIKELY PRODUCE MINOR FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS ALONGTHE BEACH SUCH AS BEACH PARKING LOTS. COASTAL OFFICIALS SHOULDTAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES TO SAFEGUARD THEIRBEACHES.
