A STRONG UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM CURRENTLY CENTERED OVER NEVADAWILL BRING INCREASING EAST TO SOUTHEAST FLOW OVER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.AS A RESULT...A SURGE OF MONSOONAL MOISTURE WILL MOVE INTO THEREGION THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY. FOR TODAY...THERE WILL BE ASLIGHT CHANCE OF ELEVATED THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS OF LOSANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES AS WELL AS THE ANTELOPE VALLEY. DURINGTHIS TIME...THE MAIN THREATS WITH STORMS WILL BE ISOLATED DRYLIGHTNING STRIKES AND GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS.
