Bystander shot during fight inside Nicollet Ave. restaurant in Minneapolis

A bystander was shot in the leg during a brawl that erupted inside a restaurant on Nicollet Ave. S in Minneapolis early Saturday morning.

A group of men began arguing inside Asian Tastes on the 1400 block of Nicollet Ave. S around 1:00 a.m., according to Minneapolis police. A single shot was fired at one point during the fight, injuring another customer in the restaurant.

The men ran outside and began to physically fight with one another outside the restaurant. Several more shots were fired shortly before police arrived on the scene.

The bystander suffered a non-life threatening injury. A second victim later showed up at the Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening gunshot wound also sustained in the incident.

Minneapolis police are continuing to investigate the incident. No suspects have been arrested.
