FOX 9 Minneapolis Headlines

1 killed, 1 hurt in 2 St. Paul shootings

One man was killed and another was injured after two shootings blocks apart in St. Paul on Monday night, but police haven't confirmed if they're connected.

St. Paul police Sgt. Mike Ernster said police are treating the shootings as two separate incidents as the investigation unfolds.

At about 9:30 p.m. on Monday, St. Paul police responded to the 700-block of Orange Avenue and found a man with a gunshot wound. He was brought to Regions Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He has not been identified. Officers are still searching for a suspect, but did not give a suspect description.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to call the Saint Paul Police Department Homicide Unit at 651-266-5650.

Before the Orange Avenue shooting, a man was injured a few blocks away in a shooting at Arcade Street and Rose Avenue.
