As of 10 a.m., the National Weather Service reported the Kinnickinnic River near River Falls, Wis. has risen 6.7 feet since 2 a.m. after Monday morning storms swept the Twin Cities and east into Wisconsin.
A cold front advancing across the central United States will bring the threat of severe weather from Wisconsin to Texas into Monday night.
Severe thunderstorms will ignite from Minnesota to northeastern Colorado into Sunday night. Storms will extend from upper Michigan to northwest Texas on Monday.
