Police: Person shot at St. Pete's Sundial parking garage

St. Petersburg police are investigating a shooting at the Sundial parking garage.

Shots were fired around 3:15 a.m. Saturday inside the garage on 2nd Street North.

According to police, there was a verbal altercation going on between two vehicles when the victim threw an object at the other vehicle.

Police said a passenger in the other vehicle pulled out a gun and started shooting. The victim was struck in the foot.

The gunman's vehicle fled from the garage just before officers arrived. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the St. Pete Police Department.
