President Barack Obama will be meeting with his disaster response team, including Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, on Tuesday before delivering a statement on the devastating tornado that tore through the Oklahoma City suburbs Monday.
Several tornadoes touched down from Oklahoma to Iowa, including near Wichita, Kan., and Oklahoma City, on Sunday.
Severe storms are passing south of Oklahoma City and north of Little Rock.
More severe weather is on the way for the southern Plains on Tuesday as well as parts of the Midwest and the Northeast.
A severe thunderstorm with winds up to 75 mph and golf ball sized hail will pass to the south of Oklahoma City.

More than 20 tornadoes were reported by the National Weather Service with hundreds of hail and wind reports Sunday afternoon through Sunday night.
Preliminary reports are calling it an EF-4 tornado that has caused numerous fatalities and injuries in the Oklahoma town.
