The heat is on again as we finish out the workweek and head into the weekend. Actual afternoon highs climb to around 97° with heat index values around 105°. Expect intense sunshine with typical afternoon and early evening showers and thunderstorms. Rain coverage is in the 30% range so although some of us could get some stronger storms, not all of us will see showers. We keep it hot for the weekend with your rain chances looking more impressive on Sunday.
