Heavy rain has continued across portions on Northern California overnight, but the rain is expected to give way to scattered showers after 8am. Butte, Plumas, Glenn, Tehama, and Colusa Counties have have the majority of the rainfall this morning, with limited moisture falling in other areas. Chico has reported 1.67" as of this writing, and Redding has had just under 3/4 of an inch. Temperatures are staring out in the mid to high 50's in the valley, and in the mid 40's to low 50's in the mountains this morning. High temperature will climb into the low to mid 60's in the valley, and into the 50's in the mountains. Winds will be out of the Southeast to around 15mph today.
Conditions will be mostly dry for tonight, and the daytime on Wednesday. Temperatures will be much warmer on Wednesday, with most valley areas topping out in the low to mid 70's. Showers will return to Northern California on Wednesday night, and showers will continue into your weekend. Temperatures will mostly top out in the low to mid 60's through your weekend for the valley. Wet weather does look likely for your Halloween forecast on Monday.
