THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 8
INCHES OR MORE ARE POSSIBLE...PRIMARILY AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE
8000 TO 9000 FEET. SOME HIGHER PEAKS ABOVE 10000 FEET MAY SEE
UPWARDS OF ONE TO TWO FEET OF FRESH SNOW ACCUMULATION.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN THURSDAY NIGHT OVER THE HIGH TERRAIN OF
CENTRAL NEW MEXICO...AND IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN PERIODIC TO
STEADY THROUGH SATURDAY.

* WINDS...NO SIGNIFICANT WINDS ARE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM
SYSTEM.

* SNOW LEVELS...SNOW LEVELS WILL FLUCTUATE...RISING TO NEAR 9000
FEET DURING THE AFTERNOONS...AND FALLING BACK TO NEAR 5000
FEET DURING THE LATE NIGHTS AND EARLY MORNINGS. THE
SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS WILL GENERALLY BE CONFINED TO
ELEVATIONS ABOVE 8000 TO 9000 FEET.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...HEAVY WET SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE AT HIGHER
ELEVATIONS...MAKING TRAVEL DIFFICULT OR IMPOSSIBLE OVER SOME
MOUNTAIN PASSES AND OTHER HIGH ELEVATION ROADS. THE HEAVY WET
SNOW COULD COMPROMISE THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF SOME ROOF
TOPS.
