Another plunge of chilly air will set the stage for the risk of a frost and freeze centered Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and other nearby states this weekend. more >
Temperatures are on the upswing across Central Florida. Many areas could reach 90 degrees or warmer today. Coastal counties will be a few degrees cooler, in the upper 80's. A slight risk of showers and thunderstorms will linger for the afternoon. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy and low temperatures will be in the upper 60's/low 70's.

This holiday weekend, a rare astronomical phenomenon will occur that will not be seen again until October 2015.
A few days after a chilly storm departs the Northeast, warm weather will make a strong comeback in parts of the Midwest and the East later next week.
Drenching tropical showers will soak Southeast Texas Friday evening while storms slam the Western Plains.
"This pup was literally singing when he saw his family," Michelle Karolicki, relocation program manager of the Central Oklahoma Humane Society, said about a reunion that took place on Thursday.
