    Flooding concerns as heavy rain falls

    Heavy rain is falling across the D.C. region Thursday morning and is expected to stay in the area until the weekend. Showers began during the afternoon and evening Wednesday and pushed in the overnight hours. With the heavy storms comes the possibility of flooding. Also, drivers should use caution and allow extra time during morning and evening commutes.
