Emergency workers are expected to reach the basement levels of the buildings that exploded in East Harlem, looking for new clues into what caused the blast. Although all eight bodies reported missing have been recovered, the rescue operation was continuing in case unknown people were buried beneath the rubble, said city Fire Commissioner Salvatore Cassano.
