* TEMPERATURE: HIGHS SATURDAY AFTERNOON WILL RANGE IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S ACROSS MANY AREAS. THE COMBINATION OF VERY WARM TEMPERATURES ALONG WITH ABUNDANT LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE WILL RESULT IN HEAT INDEX VALUES RANGING FROM 100 TO 105 DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HOURS.

* IMPACTS: THOSE EXPOSED TO THE DANGEROUS HEAT AND HIGH HUMIDITY OVER A PROLONGED PERIOD HAVE AN INCREASED RISK OF HEAT RELATED ILLNESSES. CARS CAN REACH LETHAL TEMPERATURES IN A MATTER OF MINUTES. NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN OR PETS UNATTENDED IN A VEHICLE... NOT EVEN FOR A MINUTE.
