THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHOENIX HAS ISSUED A BLOWING DUSTADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM MST THIS EVENING.

* AFFECTED AREA...WESTERN MARICOPA COUNTY INCLUDING GILA BEND AND TONOPAH...NORTHWEST PINAL COUNTY INCLUDING STANFIELD...CASA GRANDE...COOLIDGE. ALSO INCLUDES PORTIONS OF INTERSTATE 8 AND 10...STATE ROUTES 238...85...347 AND OTHER DUST PRONE TRAVEL CORRIDORS THROUGH THE AFFECTED COUNTY AREAS.

* TIMING...UNTIL 7 PM MST.

* WINDS...25 TO 35 MPH.

* VISIBILITY...DOWN TO ONE HALF MILE.

* IMPACTS...VISIBILITIES WILL DROP SUDDENLY RESULTING IN HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE READY FOR A SUDDEN DROP IN VISIBILITY. IF YOU ENCOUNTERBLOWING DUST OR BLOWING SAND ON THE ROADWAY OR SEE ITAPPROACHING...PULL OFF THE ROAD AS FAR AS POSSIBLE AND PUT YOURVEHICLE IN PARK. TURN THE LIGHTS ALL THE WAY OFF AND KEEP YOURFOOT OFF THE BRAKE PEDAL.
