THROUGH MIDDAY MONDAY...

A STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE MID STATE TODAY AND MONDAY.
WHILE IT WILL BE MILD AND RAINY FOR MUCH OF THE AFTERNOON AND
EVENING HOURS....THE SYSTEM'S COLD FRONT WILL PASS THROUGH THE
REGION TONIGHT...DROPPING TEMPERATURES TO BELOW FREEZING BY DAWN
MONDAY. THESE SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES COMBINED WITH RESIDUAL
MOISTURE BEHIND THE COLD FRONT SHOULD LEAD TO SNOW SHOWERS FROM
EARLY MONDAY MORNING THROUGH ROUGHLY MIDDAY.

LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF A DUSTING FROM THE TENNESSEE RIVER TO
I-65 WILL BE POSSIBLE...WITH ONE HALF INCH TO ONE INCH EASTWARD
TOWARDS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE UPPER CUMBERLAND PLATEAU
REGION.

ANY SNOW THAT FALLS...OR LEFTOVER MOISTURE FROM THE RAIN ON
SUNDAY...COULD CAUSE SLICK TRAVEL CONDITIONS FOR THE MONDAY
MORNING COMMUTE. CONTINUE TO MONITOR FORECAST THROUGHOUT THE
WEEKEND FOR UPDATES REGARDING THIS LIGHT SNOW EVENT.
