Here is an enhanced infrared satellite image of Hurricane Patricia, the strongest hurricane ever recorded. Patricia is expected to make landfall Friday evening as a Category 5 hurricane along the southern coast of Mexico.
An area of low pressure will help produce 6 to 10 inches of snow through Tuesday near Sioux Falls. Other cities impacted include Rapid City and Minneapolis.
