Unsettled & Cooler Weather In Your Late Week Forecast

Unsettled & Cooler Weather In Your Late Week Forecast

Mostly cloudy skies, cooler temperatures, showers, and thunderstorms are all ahead for your Wednesday forecast. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms have spread across the region this morning, and more unsettled weather looks likely for your Wednesday afternoon. The potential for thunderstorms will be more prevalent late in the day. Temperatures are starting out in the high 50's to low 60's, and mountain areas have dipped into the low 40's to low 50's. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the high 70's to low 80's in the valley, and into the low 60's to low 70's in the mountains. Winds will be out of the North to 10mph in the Northern zones of the state, and out of the South to 10mph through the mid valley.

A cooling trend, and the potential for unsettled conditions will linger through the entire north state through Friday. Valley areas will continue to have at least a slight potential for showers, and thunderstorms through Friday afternoon. There will continue to be the potential for active weather in the Sierra through the upcoming weekend. Valley temperatures are expected to dip into the low to mid 70's for the end of your work week, but will warm back into the low to mid 80's by Monday. Sunny skies, and warmer temperatures are ahead for next week. I hope everyone stays safe on the wet roads across the north state today, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
