THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DENVER HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST
TUESDAY.

* TIMING...SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN THIS MORNING...WITH THE
HEAVIEST AMOUNTS LATE THIS MORNING AND AFTERNOON. THE SNOW IS
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...5 TO 9 INCHES..HIGHEST ALONG EAST AND
SOUTHEAST FACING SLOPES.

* WIND/VISIBILITY...NORTHEAST TO EAST WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH CAN
BE EXPECTED TODAY...THEN SOUTHEAST 10 TO 15 MPH TONIGHT INTO
TUESDAY MORNING.

* TEMPERATURES...WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE 15 TO
30 BELOW ZERO.

* IMPACTS...PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES ON ROADS THROUGH THESE
AREAS WITH SLICK AND SNOW PACKED ROADWAYS. SOME BLOWING SNOW
WILL RESULT IN VISIBILITY REDUCTIONS. WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES
COULD PRODUCE FROSTBITE ON UNCOVERED SKIN WITHIN 30 MINUTES.
