* TEMPERATURE...THE MAXIMUM HEAT INDEX WILL RANGE FROM 103 TO 108 DEGREES.

* TIMING...HEAT INDEX READINGS WILL QUICKLY RISE TO NEAR 100 DEGREES BY NOON...WITH THE HIGHEST HEAT INDEX READINGS BETWEEN 2 PM AND 6 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...THOSE EXPOSED TO THE DANGEROUS HEAT AND HUMIDITY OVER A PROLONGED PERIOD MAY LEAD TO AN INCREASED RISK OF HEAT- RELATED ILLNESS.
